QQ Music AI Music Creation
At Tencent Music Entertainment, I design QQ Music's AI music creation experiences, including AI song generation and AI singing features.
AI Song Creation is a core AI music creation project I participated in designing at QQ Music. It refers to a creation flow where users can generate a complete song with AI through a sentence, a conversation, an image, humming, or style selection.
As AIGC enters music scenarios, QQ Music is no longer only a platform for listening to, collecting, and sharing music. It is also becoming an entry point for everyday users to express emotions, record life moments, generate works, and participate in music creation. The goal of AI Song Creation is not to serve professional music production, but to help users without lyric-writing, composing, or arranging experience create a song of their own with a low barrier.
In this project, I was mainly responsible for user experience and interaction design related to AI Song Creation. I optimized the key journey from creative intent, inspiration input, style selection, generation waiting, result review, and sharing. The experience covered one-sentence song generation, conversational song creation, image-to-song, humming-to-song, music recipes, AI generation visualization, result pages, and sharing flows.
My design focus was to translate complex AI music generation capabilities into a creation experience that users can understand, operate, and participate in. On one hand, lighter input methods lower the psychological barrier to starting creation. On the other hand, generation feedback, style control, and result packaging strengthen users' perception and control over the AI creation process, shifting the experience from “waiting for AI to produce a result” to “creating a song together with AI.”
